Catechumenos: Icon of four praying figures

The course begins in January and ends in April. Participants must attend every Saturday at 6:00 PM.

CATECHUMENS

If any of the requirements are not met, the person will not be accepted into the catechumen process.

Catechumens are people joyfully preparing to receive the three sacraments of Christian initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. Their journey of faith takes place through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). On a very special night—the Easter Vigil—they receive the sacraments, and with special permission, the priest is allowed to administer Confirmation as well. It’s a beautiful and hope-filled celebration where they are fully welcomed into the family of the Church.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be over 18 years old

  • Have not received any sacraments (Baptism, First Communion, or Confirmation)

  • Bring your birth certificate

  • Visit the church office to complete the registration
